How To Make Veg Kurma

Preparing time:20 min


6 tbs grated coconut

5-6:cashew nut chopped

1/2 tbs Chana dal (rosted)

1/2 tbs coriander seed

4 garlic cloves (chopped)

2 dry chili

3/4 tbs of fennel seed

1 inch of cinnamon stick

1 cardamom

1 cloves

1/2 cup water

2 carrots

1/2 cup french bean

1 potato

4  mushroom

1 onion

Little curry leaf( to add flavour )

1 tomato

2 tbs curd 

2 cup water

2 tbs oil

Salt as required 

Coriander chopped


Grind all the spices which I have mentioned above and make a paste and keep aside

Wash the vegetable and peel the skin and cut in to pieces

Heat oil in cooker add curry leaf ,onion and fry it til it  changes the colour

Add tomato and fry it till it leaves water

Now add the grinded paste and fry it for 3 to 4 min

Now add vegetables and curd fry it in low flame

Now add water and add salt as required and cover the lid and cook it for 3 whistles  

Once vegetable is cooked  garnish with coriander and serve hot with  chapati/rice /butter naan
