How To Prepare Rajma Masala In  Restaurent Style?

1 cup rajma

3onion (chopped)

3 tomato (chopped)

3 Garlic cloves, small piece of ginger,2 green chili ( make a paste)

1/2 tbs red chili powder

1 tbs coriander  powder 

Little turmeric powder

1/2 tbs garam masala 

1/2 tbs cumin seed

Little Kasuri methi

2 tbs butter

2 tbs cream

Water as required 

Salt as required


  • Wash the raja and soak in water over night next  day  discard the water  
  • In a cooker  cook  rajma  till it get cooked once it is cooked heat oil in a vessel add cumin seed  
  • Now add chopped onion fry it till it changes colour  Add ginger garlic and chili paste add chopped  tomato add all the  masala and south it for a while
  • Add cooked rajma and water to the masala and close the lid  
  • Take out from the flame and  sprinkle  some Kasuri  methi  and serve with rice
